Matt Little is the clear Democratic choice for Congress. He doesn’t back down from a fight, and he’s the leader we need to take on Trump and the billionaire special interests attacking our democracy. 

• A former State Senator, former Mayor of Lakeville, and proud dad, Matt grew up in a working-class family, watching his mom fight her insurance company just to get the healthcare she needed. It inspired him to run for office, fight for working people, and take on the big drug companies to cap insulin costs. 
• Now he’s running for Congress because Trump and billionaire special interests are attacking our democracy. When ICE murdered two Minnesotans, Matt took to the streets and spent months personally tracking ICE agents and documenting their lawless raids. In Congress, he’ll hold Trump and ICE accountable, fight corruption, and take on the billionaires and special interests who have rigged the system against working people.
• Matt is endorsed by the DFL, the Minnesota Democratic Party, and has the overwhelming support of dozens of Democratic lawmakers, labor unions, and progressive organizations across the district. They know he has the record and the toughness to win in November, fight for working families, and hold Trump accountable. It is essential that every piece of communication repeatedly states that Matt is the Minnesota DFL-endorsed candidate.

Additional details for mail communications: 

• Matt has a plan to hold ICE accountable in Congress, where he will cut ICE funding, ban agents from wearing masks, and end their warrantless, unconstitutional arrests.
• Matt doesn’t take a dollar from corporate PACs, and he can’t be bought. In Congress, he’ll ban members of Congress from trading stocks, get dark money out of elections, crack down on lobbyist influence, and stop billionaires from buying our democracy.
• As a kid, Matt had to help his mom fight her insurance company to cover her treatments when she got sick, and his dad got laid off. He says no one should go broke just because they get sick, but our health care system is broken. As a state senator, Matt took on the big drug companies to cap insulin costs. In Congress, he’ll fight to pass Medicare for All and crack down on big pharma and insurance companies.

The first priority for paid communications, if enough resources are available, is ads with this message on broadcast and cable TV (especially CNN and MSNBC). Ideally, these communications would begin as soon as July 7, when opponents are scheduled to start spending on broadcast TV. 

The second priority, if there are not enough resources available for TV , is ads with this message on digital and streaming platforms and OTT/CTV, especially YouTube, as well as mail to likely Democratic primary voters.
